Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain stroller is light and durable. It also offers excellent maneuverability. Its one-hand fold is compact, which means it's easy to transport and also freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a nearly flat position, and there's an enormous storage bin and canopy. The suitability for newborns is yes, with a separate carrycot (not suitable for overnight sleeping).
A good suspension and air-filled tires will allow you navigate through rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging but you should wait until your baby is at least six or nine months old for this.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a great choice for parents who want a lightweight buggy with enhanced features. The travel system comes with an adjustable carrycot that can be folded flat for newborns and a dual-position forward and rear facing pushchair seat.
The XL Air is a really impressive buggy, and it's easy to see why it's received such high praise from its customers. It's extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg and it's super-easy to construct. I was able get it up and running in just five minutes - which is remarkable considering it also includes the ability to attach fabric to the carrycot.

It has a comfortable wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is easy to operate. The basket has plenty of space and I like that the handle bar features pockets to keep your keys and phone secure.
The handlebar is low, which may be a problem for parents who are taller. But, it's covered in a lovely leather-like material that is soft and comfortable and cleans down easily, meaning it's still easy to push even with bags and children on your hands!
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for parents who love to explore and are always on the go. The large pneumatic wheels can be used on field and forest paths. The front wheel is lockable and can be rotated for added flexibility. The stroller comes with 5-point safety harness with a front bar to keep your child safe on every trip. The parking brake will keep the stroller on its feet while you take a rest. The comfortable seat is simple to lower to a lying position and the canopy can be opened to allow to allow for maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to fit mom or dad.
The Runner will accompany you on your next adventure whether it's a leisurely jog, a longer hike, or a long-distance walk. It has a fully-flat lay-flat seat that has suspension air wheels to ensure smooth and comfortable riding. The front wheel is lockable for more stability on narrow streets and congested sidewalks and the stroller folds easily to fit in car boots and storage spaces.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also the locking system (requiring two buttons either on either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebar is a little higher than the ones of competitors which means it might not work for smaller parents however, overall it's an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller worth considering for active families.
Red Kite Push Me Pace
Red Kite's Pace is a great product from the affordable British brand. They are renowned for their clean, well-designed products that are essentials for parents. It's the most recent and most expensive version of their bargain light stroller range and as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo it's car seat-compatible so that you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace comes with some amazing design features such as rose-gold hues on the hood, chassis, and stroller trims that truly make it stand out. The grey, tan and cream fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are fashionable and there's an option to add a co-ordinating leather cover handle and bumper bar, too.
It's suitable from birth to a maximum weight of 22kg and the stroller seat can easily be converted from a carrycot to a 2-in-1 reversible mode, parent or world-facing. The stroller seat offers multiple lie back positions, softly padded leg rests and has an extendable sun canopy featuring concealed zip sections, a viewing through flaps and a retractable sun visor section.
What's more, when it's folded it's Pace is 56 33 x 43 x 32cm, which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among other airlines. Two buttons on either side are easy to utilize and press to lock it in the right position.
Bugaboo Fox 5
The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain stroller, Bugaboo's latest Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis comes with a shorter wheel width, making it more manoeuvrable than its predecessor. I tried it with my two children one of whom is eight weeks old and the other toddler - on rocky pavements as well as grassy wooded paths and even cobblestones.
The wheels that are puncture-proof are large - 22cm and 30cm - therefore they are able to handle many different terrains. The wheels have a flap that can be closed or opened to let air in when required. It's a bit bigger than some pushchairs, but it isn't heavy or bulky when pushing over bumpy surfaces.
The seat fabric is machine washable and the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It is also quieter than other pushchairs and I was comfortable in the urban streets. One of the advantages is that it has integrated accessory points. This means you can add footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. The hood can be used to block out rain and wind, but it's not waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included), which gives your child more leg room. The bassinet took about 20 minutes to set up and it took the same amount of time to transform it into an actual seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
No matter if you're enjoying a morning jog under the stars or a moonlit walk in the cool air, the UPPAbaby Ridge transforms every moment into a shared experience. This all-terrain stroller is designed to keep you and your child active.
The large 12" and 16" foam-filled tires offer a smooth ride, regardless of the terrain. The suspension is patented, allowing you to glide over woodland paths with minimal impact on your child's legs and rear. The handbrake that is designed for performance allows you to quickly stop, even when jogging on a downhill slope.
From bustling farmers markets to street musicians performing a tune The Ridge navigates all your favorite city scenes effortlessly. Its spacious basket accommodates your finds from the market and everything else your baby needs and the spacious canopy provides sun and wind protection. The large front canopy opens to reveal two mesh windows that allow you to keep an eye on your child's surroundings.
The Ridge's reversible seating allows you to choose if your child faces you, or the world ahead. Its simple foot brake system makes it easy for parents who are new. The reversible handlebar is a fantastic feature that lets you adjust it to your height. In contrast to other strollers for jogging, the Ridge's fold is reliable and stays self-standing while folded.
iCandy Core
iCandy's new pushchair is truly revolutionary, with lots of features that are sure to amaze parents. 3 wheel pushchair features a Multi-Mode wheelbase as well as an LED Visibility Hub light, which is the first of its kind in the market. It also features an integrated Ride-on Board which will save you money in the future and makes it easy for a tired toddler to join you on family outings.
The Core can be purchased as a single or as a complete travel system and it is compatible with the most popular car seats from brands such as Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Joie. It has the largest seat unit in the iCandy line, which means you can use it for your baby's first years and beyond. Like all iCandy pushchairs, this one is luxuriously designed and is made of premium knitted jersey fabrics. The child's bumper bar and the handlebar that parents can adjust are made of soft leatherette. The fold-away calf supports are also very comfortable for children.
It was impressive how easily it folded and collapsed even with the seat unit still attached. It is also easy to fit into your hallway and boot, making it perfect for travelling. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, like an iCandy Core-branded changing rucksack and liner/footmuff.
